Services offered:
The most common cause of damage to dental tissue is tooth decay – if left untreated, it can lead to infections of the dental pulp and root canal. The affected tooth is treated by means of a dental filling. These can be aesthetic fillings that are the same colour as the tooth or highly durable amalgam fillings. If there is little tissue left on the tooth, we restore the original shape of the tooth with a white crown. Root canal treatment requires careful cleaning of the walls of the root canal and a high-quality filling. This can often prevent inflammation in the root area and pulp chamber and the subsequent need to extract a tooth. Treating children requires a special, more patient approach. We try to create a pleasant atmosphere so that the child is not anxious about the dental treatment. We stress the importance of preventing tooth decay in children: we advise and show them how best to clean their teeth. We cooperate with an orthodontist and will recommend your child in good time for a consultation and subsequent treatment..
Tooth replacements solve the problem of missing teeth, whether front teeth or molars. We make metal-ceramic crowns and bridges, or full-ceramic for front teeth. These materials satisfy the most demanding aesthetic requirements. We also make metal-ceramic or full-ceramic replacements for implants, which can be used to solve the problem of 1 missing tooth without the need for bridging and filing. We also make removable replacements, either partial or full depending on the situation. We cooperate with dental laboratories that specialise in making replacements (crowns) for implants..
We perform standard tooth extractions. For complicated extractions (wisdom teeth) we cooperate with a renowned clinic specialising in these operations, including operations under general anaesthetic..
Our practice has its own X-ray machine with digital imaging. This technology allows us to reduce the doses of X-ray radiation and enables precise imaging on a monitor, so that even low-level decay can be detected early. The machine’s telescopic arm means that the patient does not have to leave the dentist’s chair during X-raying.
Dental hygiene procedures performed by a hygienist are often part of a preventive check-up. These procedures involve removing plaque and tooth coating by ultrasound and curette, removing pigment, fluoridisation and providing expert preventive care. During a three-session visit the patient is informed about the emergence of gum inflammation and tooth decay and instructed on best oral hygiene techniques, using an ordinary toothbrush and special brushes, and cleaning between the teeth. After plaque is removed, the tooth pigment is removed and the teeth are polished to achieve a perfectly smooth surface..
After an examination and consultation, we offer in-practice teeth whitening done by a dentist. We use Opalescence, a reliable and clinically tested product that enables fast lightening of the teeth and improves the aesthetic appearance of stained teeth, including tetracycline stains. We also perform home whitening, where the patient wears a whitening “tray” for 2-3 hours a day; or you can wear it in your sleep. These methods can be combined to achieve more pronounced results faster.
